Leading Lady Strong was born on September 21st, 1995 in Lansing, MI. She grew up in the church, where she developed her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, accepting Him as her Lord and Savior. She is a former member of Friendship House of Prayer Baptist Church in Lansing, MI, and currently is a member of The Place of Providence.
She went on to graduate from Michigan State University in December of 2017 with her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Educational Studies. She then received her Masters of Arts in English Language Literature, with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric from the University of Michigan in 2019. She was a former Student Success Coordinator at Michigan State University, helping first generation college students transition to collegiate life. She currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor at the Lorain County Community College.

Her passion for education has allowed her to serve as a Senior Admissions Representative and 6th Grade ELA teacher at National Heritage Academies, a charter school company, on the Ohio Regional level. Currently, she is a 3rd Grade teacher at Breakthrough Schools (Glenville location), located in the urban Cleveland area. She has spoken across the region on the importance of educational advantages for underprivileged youth in lower income areas.

She is the leader and visionary of the EmpowHer Women's Ministry Movement, through empowering other women at Providence, and around the city of Sandusky and beyond.

She is the proud wife of our Pastor, and a proud mother to Josiah & Kaiden Strong.
